Can i get a t-mobile account if i start to use my credit?

ok so im 16 going on 17 and im trying to get the new sidekick with t-mobile i was wondering if i could my mom doesn't have good credit and my dads credit is down the drain can i open one with my credit so please help me out i want to give this birthday present to my self.
