When ever I try to turn the power on in my suzuki nothing happens.?

it's like the batterys dead but it's not, and the interior lights work fine. when i try to turn on the hazard lights it just makes a clicking grinding sound. it happened right after someone tried to jump start it. It's a 1993 sukuki sidekick
